April Hanig, LMFT (CEO / Clinical director)

April Hanig is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist (LMFT). She founded New Leaf with the vision to build a specialized group practice that provides highly-effective therapy services for children, teens, adults, and families. April specializes in helping individuals overcome anxiety, panic attacks, perfectionism and other behavior patterns and overwhelming emotions that can get in the way of a joyful life. In addition to extensive experience and training in anxiety treatment, she has a special focus on early childhood issues, behavior problems, ADHD, grief, trauma, depression, cancer and chronic health issues. Gail Baker, LMFT

Gail is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She specializes in the areas of anger management, communication skills, trauma and self-esteem issues. She also has an extensive background working with both children and adults with ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety, among other challenges. Victoria Volsky, LMFT

Victoria is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She works with individuals and families navigating addiction recovery, anxiety, relationship challenges, and patterns related to codependency. She brings several years of experience in addiction treatment and takes a trauma-informed approach that integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Victoria focuses on creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore vulnerable experiences, develop insight, and build practical tools for change. She is passionate about helping clients strengthen self-awareness, build confidence, and prioritize their mental wellness while working toward meaningful personal goals. Kristine Frank, LCSW

Kristine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in working with children, teens, young adults, couples, and families. She has a passion for helping clients address anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, behavioral challenges, communication issues, and life transitions, and she uses a variety of methods such as CBT, play therapy, mindfulness, art, and parent coaching to help her clients better navigate the complexities of life, relationships, and healthy living. Scarlett Regalado Sellers, LMFT

Scarlett is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) experienced working with children, tweens, teens and adults struggling with low self-esteem, school issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral concerns, and relationship challenges. Scarlett teams up with clients to help them identify their unique needs and motivations, and equips them with skills to express themselves more effectively. Scarlett focuses on empowering clients to tap into their inner ability to navigate all of life’s challenges and lead more fulfilling lives. Blossom Cohon, APCC

Blossom is a Registered Associate Clinical Counselor (APCC) working with children, teens, adults and couples to find greater meaning in their lives and their relationships. Blossom is passionate about helping people to navigate stressful circumstances and learn healthier ways to work through anxiety, depression, grief/loss, behavioral issues, social challenges, and relationship struggles, among other issues that youth and adults face in today’s ever changing world. Sophie Bain-Tohl, LMFT

Sophie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She supports individuals, couples, children, and families navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, parenting transitions, and life changes. With more than 15 years of clinical experience, she helps clients better understand the patterns that influence emotional wellbeing and relationships. Her integrative approach draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Integrative Body Psychotherapy, and relational therapy. Sophie works collaboratively with clients to build emotional regulation skills, deepen connection in relationships, and develop healthier perspectives and habits in daily life. Julia Hanig — Client Care Coordinator

As our Client Care Coordinator, Julia is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of care for our clients. She previously worked for over 10 years as a front and back office medical assistant in a busy pediatric office where she developed her love for supporting children and families. She has worked in behavioral health practice management for the past 3 years and has extensive experience managing health records and appointment scheduling to ensure clients are able to get the care they need.
